Thanks to all who have already submitted articles for the Fall 2023 Association Newsletter.
For those who have yet to submit, just a reminder:
The theme this fall is: Marching to the 110th!
As such, in addition to submitting articles relating to recent Association events in your branches, it would be great if you and your members would also provide an indication of events and activities that you are planning to celebrate the Regiment’s 110th Anniversary in 2024.
Here are the requested submission details:
– Submission deadline is 27 October 2023
– Please submit articles and photos to: vpeast@ppcliassn.ca
– Ideally submissions are made using MS Word, no more than 500 words please
– Please do not embed photos in your articles, please send them as separate attachments such that I will be able to manipulate them into the newsletter format
In addition to submissions for the Fall 2023 Newsletter, with the endorsement of the Association Board of Directors, I am beginning to develop an Association Communications Strategy and I am very interested in soliciting both ideas and volunteers from across our membership to assist me in the following areas:
– Generating ideas on how to better engage with our members, potential members, other stakeholders and the wider public
– Generating content related to the Regiment and the Association (history, events, activities, etc)
– Assisting in engaging the membership via online conversations and assisting in moderation
– Assisting in expanding the Association online presence via other social media platforms beyond FaceBook

Once the team is identified, we will begin to draft a plan to include milestones and activities to launch by the Regimental Birthday in March 2024
