It is with great sadness that his family advise of the passing of Dave Montgomery. He was quite healthy until about six weeks ago when, after a fall, he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He did not leave the hospital. Dave served proudly and oh so well in the Queen’s Own Rifles, the Airborne Regiment, PPCLI and the Brockville Rifles. At Dave’s specific request (and no surprise to many of us) there will be no service and no Obituary. We will each remember Dave in many different places and in many different ways, but inevitably, there is always at least some humour involved. We shall miss him.
