It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our son, Travis Chad Williamson, 38, in Oromocto, New Brunswick on February 23, 2025.
Born on January 27, 1987, in Lethbridge, Alberta, he was the much-loved son of Erin and Jeff Williamson. He spent most of his life in Black Diamond, Alberta until joining the Canadian Army July 21, 2016. This quickly became his second family, and he loved his brothers and sisters, and serving his country.
He is survived by his parents, Erin and Jeff Williamson, as well as many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
He is predeceased by his loving sister Kandice Williamson, Grandparents Arthur Nernberg, John (Jack) and Sybil Williamson, Evelyn Ireton, as well as his loving Auntie Crystal, Auntie Nita, and Auntie Jackie.
A service to honour the life of Travis will be held at the Gateway Bible Church in Black Diamond, Alberta 1:00 pm on Tuesday March 11. With an interment following and reception at the Turner Valley Legion 121 Sunset Boulevard SE, Diamond Valley Alberta.
There will be a public visitation on Thursday March 6, 2025, 5 PM-7PM at Snodgrass Funeral Home 200 Woodgate Road, Okotoks, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Armed Forces through ‘Support Our Troops’
