Paul Joseph Leach passed away peacefully on September 25, 2023, at the age of 60 years old in Kelowna, BC.
Paul was born on November 27, 1962, in Winnipeg, Manitoba at St. Boniface Hospital. His parents Josephine and Alfred Leach raised him in Lynn Lake along with his three siblings: Wayne (JoAnn), Diane (Joe), and Millie (Lorne). He played hockey as a young boy and was an avid sports enthusiast his whole life while providing up-to-date stats on his favourite teams, especially the Philadelphia Flyers. As a young man, he joined Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry Canadian Army in Calgary and was stationed in Bosnia and Cyprus during the early 90’s. He later lived in Calgary, Revelstoke, and Kelowna. He was known for being naturally social, listening to classic rock and roll, loving his family, and making his special spaghetti.
He is survived by his two daughters, Jen (Nathan), and Hannah (Joseph), as well as four grandchildren: Emma, Amelia, Theodore, and Willow.
He will be deeply missed as a caring father, brother, friend and “Grandpa Paul”.
A service will be held in the new year to come. Details will follow when the date and time are confirmed.
