It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Michael Edward Wroblewski on May 6th, 2023, at age 59.
Michael leaves behind his wife Doreen, daughter Rebecca (Mitch), son Jacob (Jessica), mother Judi, sister Leslie (Scott), many nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends; all who he loved so dearly. Michael was predeceased by his father Ted and brother David.
Michael was always enthusiastic and invested in every endeavour, hobby, and friendship that he had during his life. Michael was a wrestler in his younger years, a soldier in the 1st Battalion of the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, a meteorologist, and a fly fisherman. Michael had a strong appreciation for classic rock, horticulture, and good food. Michael was an absolute mentor to anyone that would listen.
Cremation is planned and a celebration of life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion in Portugal Cove, Newfoundland on Friday May 12th at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Michael’s memory may be made to the Salmon Preservation Association for the Waters of Newfoundland (SPAWN).
