It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Eric Green on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 at the Health Science Centre, St. John’s, after a long hard fought battle with cancer.
Eric was proud to have served as a Section Commander with B Company 3 PPCLI, an Airborne II Commando and as an American Army Ranger.
He leaves to mourn with many loving memories: wife Nancy Briscoe; brothers: Ronald (Shirley), Arch (Roma), Ernest, Vincent, and Clyde; sisters: Jane (Lloyd), Maisie (Oliver), Mabel (Walter), and Gwen (Sheldon); sister-in-law Catherine; godson Paul; and close friends: Wayne McKenzie, David Strong, Tom Trotter, and J. Brian; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Eric was predeceased by: daughter Nicole Stitt; parents Austin and Frances Green; and brother Dave.
Following his wishes cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy donations in Eric’s memory may be made to the SPCA.
