PPCLI
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Clem, our beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Frances, son Kevin (Lois), Daughters Tracy (Dana) and Heather, grandsons Edward, Ben, Evan, Dylan, Connor and Rowan, brother George (Doreen), and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Jean and Lillian, sisters Yvette (Terrence), Annette (Don), and daughter Laurri. He was raised in Debden Sask and moved to BC in the late 1950’s. Clem joined the PPCLI and later entered the medical field working as an orderly and moving up to OR Tech at St. Joseph’s Hospital (Victoria) and moving into Victoria General Hospital. Clem enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, working with youth in his church and in Big Brothers, and volunteering as a props master for the Peninsula Players Theatre group. Clem touched many lives and hearts and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, donations to any of the following in Clem’s name would be appreciated: Diabetes Canada, Covenant House Vancouver, or Saanich Peninsula Hospital Extended Care.
